Funeral Planning Process
- As soon as there is a death and before you make any plans with a funeral home, please contact the Holy Trinity Parish office.
Parish Office: 503.643.9528 or parish@h-t.org - A Holy Trinity representative will then contact you to set up a time to meet and help you in your planning and to offer you support. We will help you every step of the way, guiding you and answering any of your questions.
Considerations
- Parish volunteers will provide a meal or reception after the funeral or memorial Mass. These details can be worked out with the Funeral Meal Coordinator. The cost for food will be worked out with the family. Parishioners usually donate desserts.
- Family and friends are encouraged to participate in the Funeral Mass. The details of these options will be discussed with you during the planning meeting. You decide what you’d like to plan and we will do the rest.
- There is no charge for the use of the church or the services of the parish priest. Musicians and vocalists should receive compensation. Ask about these details at the planning meeting.
