Greetings from Fr. Dave,
Our Fall programs are ready to begin. This weekend and next are your opportunities to sign up for our children’s religious education, sacramental preparation, middle school, and high school youth groups. All indications are it will be a fine year. Don’t miss out!
RCIA is our process to introduce non-Catholics to our Catholic faith. The group will be meeting Wednesday evenings beginning in October. If you are a baptized Catholic and are interested in renewing the basics of your faith, you too are welcome to participate in this process. Please call Pat Berg for more information: 646-0331, ext 125. Please let us know any way we can support you in your faith journey.
Our Ministry Sign Up Weekend will be October 13/14 and will take place during all of the masses. This will replace the Ministry Fair of previous years. We will have a list of our parish ministries available and you will be given an opportunity to mark the ones you believe you’d be interested in serving in. Our Pastoral Council will then make sure the appropriate ministry leader will contact you to answer questions or sign you up.
Women’s Retreat is coming up on October 20 from 9:00am-Noon here at Holy Trinity. Janice Carleton will be leading the gathering and brings with her a wealth of experience, personal stories, and a contagious faith. I have heard her speak at several different events and can tell you she is a winner. All women are welcome to come. The retreat will be held in the Fireside Room with the theme being, “Lay Your Burdens Down”. A free will offering will be taken to cover expenses.
And, the new track is done! If you have not yet seen it, take a look—or better yet, take a walk on it! It’s amazing and has quite the “wow” factor built in. The track will be dedicated and blessed on Sunday the 30th of September after the 11:15 mass. Come and join our area celebrities for this fun event!
Finally mark your calendars for our annual parish picnic coming up Sunday, October 7th beginning after the 11:15am mass in our cafeteria. See the rest of this bulletin for details.
This week we celebrated the baptisms of Cecelia Petraitis and Brandan Nguyen. Blessings to them and their families! |
