Congratulations to our new School Council members for the 2005-2006 school year. They are Shelly Anderson, Gbehmee Flumo and Greg Steiert. Thank you to our members who are going off the Council this year: Debra Abell, Diane Sarikas, and My Van-Dinh. These people have worked hard these last few years to help make Holy Trinity the best school possible. We appreciate their work and time so much.
We also have our board for the Parents’ Association in place for next year. President, Marsha Browning; President-Elect, Helen Medeiros; Secretary, Jennifer Cochran; Treasure, Beth DiFalco; Hospitality, Carol Judy; Volunteer Coordinator, Michelle McDavitt; and Room Parent Coordinator, D’Anne O’Neill. I’m looking forward to working with these women next year and want to thank the members who served this past year: Nancy Rapp, Vickie Furtado, Janet Stolt, and Ana Vega.
Mission: To support the family’s mission in preparing children for life by providing an education grounded in the Catholic faith.
Holy Trinity Parish School offers a diverse academic program in an orderly environment appropriate to each student for learning, sharing, and growing. We emphasize responsibility in all one’s actions, guiding each individual toward compassionate and responsible global citizenship. We believe in developing each child through a variety of teaching strategies and cultivating his/her individual gifts. School life is a living encounter with the gospel that is ever respectful of different cultures and heritages. Our staff is committed to the underlying Catholic principles of our parish and civic community. The school administration is committed to the financial stability of the school and makes an annual appeal for the “Fund for Excellence.”
The school’s enrollment has varied between 260 and 268 students in recent years with a capacity for 270 students. There are typically around 175 families.
The school also encourages faith formation in the home and support parents in their responsibilities by including information and handouts in our weekly newsletter and providing resources when possible. |
