Social Concerns Year-end Report
Thank you to our Holy Trinity Parish & School community again this year for their generosity. The compassion you displayed allowed us to serve many in need.
The following is an overview of what your contributions of food, clothes and financial support permitted us to do during the past 12 months.
We helped provide food for 1,635 families or 6,481 individuals
We provided over 30,000 items of clothing to the needy in our community.
We were able to purchase over 84,000 pounds of food along with our parish and school community donating over 10,000 pounds of food.
Other Highlights:
- $13,400 to community charities including $9,200 to Care to Share
- Christmas gifts and food to Oregon Food Bank clients
- Baby Layettes to needy parents
- Monthly means to homeless teens (Janus House)
- Backpacks and school supplies to needy children
- Easter food and candy baskets to needy families and children
- Thanksgiving baskets to needy famililes
- Salary and benefits to a part time employee
- Space for the Social concerns Office, Clothes Closet, Food Bank, and Intake Area
