Social Justice

The Social Justice Ministry’s mission is to raise awareness and facilitate activities supporting social justice at the community, local and national levels, both inside and outside the parish. The ministry’s goal is to work with the Beaverton Vicariate (St. Pius X, St. Cecilia, St. Juan Diego, St. John the Fisher, and Holy Trinity) to arrange for speakers and support other community efforts towards peace, justice, and reconciliation.

Peace and Justice Prayer

Dear Lord,
We pray for your grace and blessing.
Help us to become aware of the injustices to our fellow brethren, our environment, and our planet with all of your creatures. Let us be instruments of peace and may we become an affirming influence in a world which has become teeming with hatred, intolerance, impatience and war. May we take comfort in our efforts to do your will, and find serenity in knowing that doing your will is all we need concern us.
