Holy Trinity has been involved with Stephen Ministry for the past 22 years and is one of 60 churches in the Portland area providing Stephen Ministers.

What exactly is Stephen Ministry? Stephen Ministry is a group of men and women trained to provide confidential and compassionate one-to –one caring support to any individual going through difficult times.  Stephen Ministers are caring Christians who will listen to you, pray for you, who will provide emotional and spiritual support during tough times in life.

The Caring support of a Stephen Minister can help those who are: Facing life transitions; Separated or divorced; Having relationship difficulties; Experiencing birth or adoption; In spiritual crisis; Who are lonely; Suffering other life challenges; Disabled; Hospitalized; Suffering from illness; Providing care to others; Recently relocated to our community; Grieving a death or serious loss; Homebound; Seeking employment or having a job crisis; Aging and elderly;  and many other types of life’s challenges.
