Thank you to all the volunteers who did all the painting and improvements for our new ministry house. We could not have done it without you. This Thursday and Friday the new carpet and vinyl will be installed. The last piece to complete before move-in is cleaning. We can use volunteers this weekend & Monday June 11 for cleaning tasks. With a short timeline for completion and move-in, we won’t be able to do an Open House until September. Please continue to read the Saint Child updates as we will publish the date for the Open House.

We at Saint Child are very eager to get this move under our belts and to settle in so that we can meet you and begin a wonderful relationship as we function as the hands and feet of Jesus to the young women we serve. We have immediate needs as we move over these next few weeks in June.

June 23: Move all applicable household and resident items.
We would love help with this move from anyone.

Our house parents will be moving, prepping for the residents and unpacking for the entire next three weeks. We would love it if we could get meals that were already cooked since all the kitchenware is packed and in process of moving.

Donations toward Restaurant/fast food gift certificates are also desired: These can be brought to the parish office this week or put in the collection basket in an envelope marked “St. Child Meals” next weekend.

Tuesday, June 12  & Thursday, June 14: Meals for the entire house:

June 18 through 22:  Restaurant Gift cards would be most appreciated due to scheduling

June 23 – 29 – Food for house parents only at Beaverton house

Current residents will be living with Board and Staff families for one week and restaurant gift cards would be appreciated for the hosting families.
