There are a wide variety of Small Faith Groups here at Holy Trinity! Learn more about several of them below, and use the contact form on the left to reach out to the coordinator(s) if you want to learn more.
Centering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer. It does not replace other types of prayer, but adds depth and meaning to all prayer. The group provides an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Jesus and connect with your fellow parishioners. HT's Centering Prayer group currently meets every Saturday via Zoom from 4:30-6:00pm. The group is part of Contemplative Outreach of Portland, which hosts workshops and retreats regularly in the area.
Do you want to be more intentional with your prayer? Would you like to develop fellowship with other women from the parish? The newly established Holy Trinity Women’s Prayer Group is seeking participants to begin this journey with us! We plan to meet once a week starting in Advent, likely on Wednesday evenings (day/time are still TBD based on interest). Dinner (and hopefully childcare — stay tuned!) would be provided.
Panache is a women's bible and prayer support group that currently gathers every Thursday via Zoom from 9:30-11:30am, September–June. Each meeting begins with a bible study, followed by individual sharing, discussion, and prayer requests.
Senior Luncheon is a potluck-style gathering that allows folks to socialize and meet other members of the parish. Luncheons are held at 12:00pm on the third Wednesday of the month.
This support group is designed to facilitate connection, compassion, and commonality between members; offer education on how sexual trauma can interfere with one’s health and happiness; and provide tools for healthy coping. Prayer, scripture, and other inspirational spiritual materials are also incorporated. If you are interested in joining or have any questions, please give Anne Church a call at 503.320.3049
